About the event
Pinthouse and Lass Haüs Ales have been working together to bring Austin a pair of unique and exciting beers that combines both breweries approach and passion to brewing. Over the past few months, the two breweries explored two exciting styles that blend tradition and innovation through the use of newly bred hops and brewing techniques alike. The collaborations will be tapped the Friday, June 30th, at the OG Pinthouse Pizza location on Burnet Rd. Both batches are limited so stop in before they are gone to check out these two tasty cold treats:
“Drama Free” IPA - This hop drive IPA is brewed to showcase the relatively new and unique McKenzie and Elixir hops, along with a backbone of two of our favorite Washington grown lots of Chinook hops from Roy Farms and Van Horn Farms respectively, this dry hopped IPA blends light cognac, with sweet fruit and resinous pine. Pair it with the Pinthouse House Nachos or one of the Classic Pies for a happy hour treat.
"Low Key" Lager - inspired by the rustic Belgian lagers of yore, this crisp lager is brewed using belgian pils malt and hopped with a mix of tradiotnal Magnum and Saaz hops, along with the new and exciting Lórien hop bred and grown in the Willamette valley in Oregon by Indie Hops. Perfect for the current heat down we are melting in, this lager is crisp with a light malt backbone and delicate floral aromatics.
