10 breweries bring 1 East Coast and 1 West Coast Style beer and you vote for the best.  Which coast will reign supreme? East-West Beer Fest is a proud supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project and is raising funds to honor and empower wounded warriors through programs and services.

Lass Haüs Ales will be serving the Wicked Witches of East and West:

🍻EVANORA - East Coast IPA - touch of creamy haze and tropicals (tadaa!). Predominately Idaho Gem and Bergamont hops bring you a unique, complex tatse of the tropics with added depth from Elixhir hops.

🍻THEODORA - a very simple grain bill focuses on a single, 1960s heritage barley chosen for exceptional flavor, balance and mouthfeel (better to showcase bold hops with, Little Red Riding Hood!)

With the piney, resinous profile that we love from the West Coast style in mind, we blended @yakimachief Warrior, Loral, and Ella Hops to a perfect ratio of spice, wood, and citrus. And finished with one of our favorite, very versitile, yeasts to maintain a clean and crisp experience, and one of which never fails to amplify our goals. The resulting experience is that of a floral & spice fragrance, forward tasting notes of dark fruits with a highlight of citrus. As it travels to the back palate, the experience then transitions to herbals and resinous pine where you'll find the balanced bitter bite you're seeking in an IPA. Overall, a suprisingly complex first sip grabbing your attention turning to a familiar hop joy as she rests on the palate. A careful decision, IBUs were set to 85 for drinkability across the many. Though, as we've said...isn't enough IBUs for Kris, she likes to get punched in the face! And the color just hits our idea of the west coast cozy IPA style perfect for the season!
